		<description>For the sake of adding names to ALL the people in this picture, I should advise that the name of the onlooker on the pavement just behind John Lennon is Mr. Percival William Leslie Martindale. He is my father. I have no verification of this information because I can&#039;t find a similar photo of him. He died in 1975. He was living near Highgate Archway at the time and was taking a long stroll home (probably from a pub). He remembered some commotion at the crossing that caught his attention but he said that when he looked he didn&#039;t see the Beatles, or anybody, crossing the road. That rather supports my suspicion that the cover might have been a &quot;cut and paste&quot; job (before Photoshop existed of course).</description>
