He is my father. I have no verification of this information because I can't find a similar photo of him. He died in 1975. He was living near Highgate Archway at the time and was taking a long stroll home (probably from a pub). He remembered some commotion at the crossing that caught his attention but he said that when he looked he didn't see the Beatles, or anybody, crossing the road. That rather supports my suspicion that the cover might have been a "cut and paste" job (before Photoshop existed of course).
